24/7 recording is supported in Direct Power Mode with a 5V/2A adapter and compatible cable (sold separately). When connected to a router, the camera requires a microSD card; with HomeBase 3, a hard drive must be installed in it.

These cams suck. It delay a lot. By the time the cam started recording, the objects are already nearly out of the area. Don't waste money on these
