this was recently $50 at Costco in black color. that was a much better deal because it had nothing to do with Kardashians

Yes. I actually bought the light gray one last year strictly for the color. The box does say something like "Beats by Kim" or something, but the speaker itself has no Kardashian-related branding or markings on it.. Just the standard Beats Pill in gray. The $50 Costco deal was a bit better because it came with 2yrs of AppleCare+ for $50 as well, but still $50 for the speaker alone is not a bad deal at all. I have two now and they get super loud and sound great when paired together (either in Amplify or Stereo modes). The battery lasts quite a while as well and it plays quite nicely within the Apple ecosystem (Has automatic pairing with Apple devices and works with Find My).

TLDR: Just throw away the box when you receive it and no one has to know you bought the "Kardashian" speaker lol. Great deal!

Agreed, Costco is a superior deal.

From what I recall Costco did not vault into celebrity via a porn tape.

Got one from Costco but had to return it bc it sounded so bad with anything bassy. It would resonant the plastic case.
