The tenth row down shows the icon Software: Luminar Neo Photo Editing App MSRB $89 and says as long as you pay at least $25.

So the app itself is explicitly part of the bundle, but t is really buried, so easy to miss.

I already own Luminar Neo, but tempted to get this for the presets -- A couple questions for anyone who bought it..

How do the presets come? Are they tied to the license, or are they included as a "download" in some way?

And are these the presets that give you the full visual of the preset category (like the ~15 categories that come built in, and have 5-6 presets per "pack"), or are these different?

Just purchased. Includes a key for Luminar Neo itself, then has zip file downloads for all the presets.

..

I have Luminar, Luminar 3, Luminar 4, Aurora HDR, Photolemur 3, and Luminar Neo.

It's decent software and it's safe to say its worth the price of $25. It's not some freeware-level software and it's not Adobe, on the other end.

As for the presets, I have never downloaded one that had DRM. They are just files you download that get placed in the correct folder and there's not good management tool for them. (you use the software menu to "Add Luminar Neo Preset and slect the .Inpc file) My account seems to track the ones I "own".

They are not changing the software as best as I can tell, but are simply saved settings with a specific purpose.

I rarely find the LUTs helpful. If I use one or a preset, I use it as a starting point or just trying to clean up a raw photo to post something quickly online.

Having used Luminar Neo, Lightroom (Since LR1), Photoshop (since CS3), and many others for years.. Luminar is actually a pretty solid piece of software. I personally prefer it as a plugin for Photoshop, but it's pretty solid on it's own.

With that said.. Skylum, the company behind it, seems absolutely scammy and clueless in everything they do. Between their licenses, what they're offering, and even the functionality of the software, it isn't anything I can trust to always be there or work.. It's absolutely worth $25 if you get it in here, but they love to break things or lock updates behind paywalls.
I was almost until I read this. Thanks. Sticking with GIMP for now.

Interesting, they charge sales tax for donations now? Looks like you only get tax if you give money to Skylum. If you put all your money to the charity, you only have to pay tax on the amount going to humble.

I got the previous bundle with them that includes the presets (that you don't know which version would work), 3, 4, Neo, and AI versions. They're a good alternative to LR if they work. Sometimes, they struggle with RAW file sizes but at the 25 price point, this isn't that bad at all

what is it mean lifetime? if next year they upgrade to a newer version? your current license will be obsolete? or it's can upgrade to newer for life?

Fantastic option to Lightroom - lifetime license for 25 is crazy good. In 4 1
software is laggy as hell. It uses a lot of memory on my PC.

You're going to get what you pay for here. Don't expect Lightroom level quality here. There's a reason photographers pay $10-20/month to Adobe and that Lightroom is the standard within the photography universe. It's because Adobe serves photographers work very well. This will be basic in it's feature set. Might be the right option for occasional and light use, just make sure to calibrate your expectations.

I can't wait until AI breaks Adobe's dominance.

Really good deal. Honestly, I've been eyeing Neo for awhile now and was tempted to buy it for the $100 bundle, but you simply can't beat this deal given the bundle + Neo can be yours for $25.
Pro tip for those new(er) to Humble Bundle:
Just under the "Checkout" button on the bundle page, there's a toggle box for "Adjust Donation" - the anti-capitalist (come at me, Trump, I double dog dare you!) in me tries to maximize the donation to the cause as much as possible, otherwise, they don't get as much from the sale with the default configuration.

You are new to Humble Bundle it seems. Just above all of the products, there are three toggles for the bundle filters. If you click each one, it will default to the minimum payment required for those products as it's a tiered deal. The minimum for the entire bundle is $25. If you're paying less than that, you'll see what you receive in advance.

An unsung benefit of this bundle, since it does contain a few LUTs, is the ability to transfer these to your camera, such as the Lumix S9 (and any other make/model that supports real-time LUTs) as you can take these preset looks and use them for in-camera photography. I'm certainly curious how they will look and perform once transferred over.
