I just want the shiny new phone. I'm still on the pixel 7 and feeling a need for a better camera in my pocket as the military marches through our streets. This is a good deal for today.

The other was for people with Google Play Gold status or higher -- it was 30% off which is probably one of the best sales I've seen.
If I had to bet, I'd say there is a good chance they will give enhanced trade in values again. But I don't know if they'll do a discount like they are now, or store credit like they did at release. The 30% off coupon seems too much of a gamble.
