People afraid to rock a color because it might be feminine is insane, lol. If anyone ever gave me grief over me loving purple, I'd smack em six ways to Sunday if you get my drift. Then again, I exude Alpha male vibes and am not afraid to wear what I enjoy. The ladies sure don't seem to mind, they like what I'm about, but that's more from the confidence I give off more than anything else. My advice, just be confident in anything you wear or do and people will not notice or care. Being weak, afraid to wear something or just trying to stay under the radar, won't get you far in life, at least not if your in my neck of the woods. Might work in Cali or New York I guess,

The QCII has a switch that was perfect. I wish they would go back.

What does this color look like in person? Is it very feminine?
I'm a big big redneck man from Louisiana, 6 foot 4 and 340lbs. I absolutely love the color purple for some reason. Now this color in person for these headphones, looks more maroon to me than plum if I'm being honest. Basically it looks like a shade of red at the pair I looked at down at Best Buy today. I decided to hold off because of that and just keep my Lunar Blue ones.

The ANC is not even great as it produces the classic underwater pressurized white noise type of noise cancellation
Try a pair of AirPods Max vs these or the Sony XMs - you will notice both Sony and Bose have the underwater/pressure sensation and the Bose ANC can NOT be turned completely off
I suggest people to watch a quick comparison bw the 1st and 2nd gen of this product and a few videos of its competitors
Also anyone with Apple products read the hundreds of pages on Bose forums / Reddit describing the hell they go through on a daily basis just to get these headphones to connect to their Apple products and stay connected without having to repair - it's a software issue that was present on day 1 and is still occurring now when the Gen 2 were released meaning Bose never fixed one of the biggest issues.
More than enough. I use them on our property all the time, riding my tractor, lawnmower, using leaf blower and weed eater, chainsaw, etc. Don't listen to these naysayers, go down to Best Buy and try them for yourself. Nothing short of amazing sound and best noise cancelling on the market. I mean Bose commercialized Noise canceling
