Make certain to check that the serial numbers match on case and buds. People love to discard their old units that have bad batteries for newer ones. Geek squad is really bad at checking.

Would I buy a used laptop or watch? Sure.
But this product has been wedged in other peoples' ears. And those mesh screens trap a lot ear wax that does not come out.

Only pickup available is 45 min away (assuming no traffic). Tough call because there's only one pair available and if they're beat to hell I return them and get nothing but a waste of time.

I'm not too worried about this style, could be cleaned easily, the AirPods Pro style will go further inside ear, that is concerning

If you all think used ear buds are gross, wait until you hear this. At some restaurants, they'll give you utensils that have been in someone's mouth before! Then, if you are unfortunate enough to have to use the restroom, there is no guarantee that the toilet will be brand new. Someone else might have rubbed their bare Butt all over that thing. Gross!

At this price I'd rather just get some JLab, Baseus, Soundcore, or one of the other budget but high quality earbuds. If this was the ANC version I would consider it. But $50 for used lowest tier Airpods is not the move - especially considering the risk of counterfeits as well. Not worth the hassle.

Last time I got fair condition Magic Keyboard. It was dirty and broken corner. I won't spend a dollar more on their fair condition stuff. Stay away.
