The preacher curl doesn't fit properly in the slot. So I'm probably going to have to sand it so it goes in all the way down.
The weight selector rod doesn't go in smoothly on all the holes
The cables don't activate instantly so you get a very short pull push
The pulleys are rough and don't spin smoothly
I put the metal covers on by the weights and they clank every push pull
This thing ain't worth the money in my opinion
I got the
Marcy 988 basically the same minus the leg press. You can swap put the pulleys with aluminum but the first I would try is contacting the company and asking for replacements! The dual pulleys have multiple holes you can pick from to set your cable tension there is also an adjustment on the weight stack as well. These may need to be adjusted fairly soon after the first few uses s the cable will stretch a bit. IT will require periodic adjust throughout it's life as the cable continues to stretch over time.
