This is the only of the major Wi-Fi 6 / 6E / 7 models that hasn't received a FW update since May. Every other model has received an update in the past 2 months. Wonder if ASUS has abandoned it for whatever reason.

what and when? I've been keeping my eyes open and I've had Deal Alerts for several models and never saw anything!

the dual 10g multiuse ports are huge though. there are far too many Wifi7 routers with 2.5g at most.

I think he probably mean GT-AXE11000 (not GT-AXE16000)

Same. This is a very different router

To be clear, this isn't the router for me. Having said that, you're paying extra for 6e on top of tri-band - the other variants of this boi are either geared at WiFi 6 tri-band (2.4/5/5) or WiFi 6e tri-band (2.4/5/6)
this guy here has crazy fast wired + 2.4/5/5/6 <— that isn't nothing and quite helpful for and most people. Great at reducing network congestion and still pretty damn good future proofing. Haven't kept that close to WiFi 7 and devices that support, but have to believe it's near zero people that need that to support multiple devices, even in the next 3-5 years
