I do have this one and it is pretty loud. My middle kid has a bedroom on the main floor and it wakes them up. You'll have to pay attention to what milk you buy if you're doing the milk frother. Skim milk basically just doesn't have enough thickness to bubble out. 1% can be hit or miss depending on the store.
Cleaning: the main core of the machine has to be cleaned every couple weeks or the grinder parts will jam up and start making really weak coffee. It will mold like mad if you go too long without cleaning the core!
Overall the coffee this thing makes is weaker than I like even when I just do a double espresso its weaker than it should be.
For the record, I enjoy mine. You do have to wash things out and do some maintenance but it's not a major deal. I've had mine for a year. If you get a nice clear glass mug, you can see the coffee/cream layers. Quite artistic n fancy!
great purchase at this price! I've had this since 2021, (purchased at $700) still makes great coffees. I literally just finished my cup of espresso and thinking "such an excellent cup of coffee" a minute before seeing this. The best part of this machine is the easy maintenance, weekly rinse, quarterly decalcifier liquid and oil tablet.
Honestly, at this price, I would buy it as a gift too.

Got this for $299 a few yrs ago on Prime day, open box used. It works well, we used it twice a day. Set to highest temp and use the hot water to heat your cup before brewing.
I am a big coffee drinker and have this machine at home.
First, this doesn't make proper espresso. It seems to produce some crema but the espresso is not rich and flavorful. I've played with the settles and let the grinder "break in" and all that. Regardless of how I adjust the ratios, I get either sour or bitter espresso, and no rich espresso. I've dialed it to the point where it's just on the edge of bitterness, but as soon as you add milk, it becomes nearly tasteless - the espresso shot is just very shallow in flavor.
Because it can't pull anything that resembles a proper espresso shot, it can't make anything that resembles a good latte or cappuccino. Plus the drinks are tiny. Tiny flavorless boring drinks.
So despite its features, I use it primarily to make Americanos these days. It's slightly better than drip coffee, and it's very convenient. "Two coffee" drinks gets me somewhere close to one standard cup of coffee. It's drinkable.
The machine does take a while to start behaving consistently. I don't know why it is, but it is. At the start, it will grind too little beans and the pucks will be small and watery. After a few weeks of use, it settles down and starts producing full firm pucks after each brew. So if your initial drinks look terrible, have some patience. Brew through a 2-pound bag of cheap beans to break it in. And then see what you get after that.

I agree what you said on espresso part, it doesn't pull like commercial espresso machines. I fully understand its limit and expected it to be good enough to make me a cappuccino every morning without spending time to make one manually. From time saving perspective, I think it's worth it.
We've had this for years, like probably 2020 or 2021. It has never failed us. I recall buying it from Best Buy for maybe 500 on a Black Friday sale back then. This is a great deal! We have an Alexa reminder to clean it every Sunday morning. Takes about 5 minutes to clean. Everyone who visits our house wants to buy one.
are you referring to the automated cleaning with aquaclean? or are you doing something in addition to that?
Have had this for over 2 years. Love it. Saved a ton over Starbucks and others. It is noisy. And if you set it to the Hot setting (programming option) like i do, the milk carafes need to be replaced easily every year or more often, as the mixing chamber deteriorates from the hot steam. Phillips replaced mine twice under the 2 year warranty. Now on my own for the cost at about $60.
Easy to use, quick to clean, and great for everyday lattes. But if you care more about espresso quality and long-term durability, a coffee-focused brand like Breville or Jura might be a better investment.I still prefer De'Longhi

While I appreciate your opinion on the quality of the espresso, the commets about size of the drink don't really make sense.
"drinks are tiny." - The drinks are size they are supposed to be. For example, a shot of espresso should be 28-30 ml or around 1 oz (some shops, a little more) or a macchiato would be the same, but with a tsp or 2 of steam milk on top. A latte is shot (or two) of espresso with ~3:1 ratio of steamed milk to espresso.
Those are "standard" espresso drinks, which is what this makes, not a cup of morning joe from a drip coffeemaker or from Starbucks (who somehow have an 8oz drink that they call a macchiato).

This is the best BNIB price I've seen for such ever.
3200/3300 internals/brew-group are the same as the pricier 4400/4500, 5400/5500 units.
