I used it for about 10 years of everyday use. I just bought this newer version v3 in June and there's almost no difference to my old basilisk model besides it lasting longer on a single AA battery (which I also buy usb rechargeable ones 4-pk for $10)
I also use a rechargeable vertical mouse for when I need to casually browse which has completely eliminated the strain on my wrist and is more ergonomically friendly while also splitting the wear on this more expensive gaming mouse.
Overall, it's an excellent mouse and I will keep buying these as long as they keep getting sold - and when they stop getting sold I'll buy 1 or 2 as spares so I'll be set for the next decade.
