I HATE this vacuum. bought it brand new recently to replace my previous 12-year-old Dyson (without the Ball design) and its terrible. less suction than old models, has several pieces that fall apart and loosely snap into place. doesn't pick up hair/fur well at all. the hose assembly has already torn open once and i had to shorten it. electric cord length is shorter than past models. makes a very high pitch noise when in use (poor seals around rubber pieces)

look elsewhere.

We also have it and dislike it, mostly for the poorly fitting plastic pieces and small springs that pop out and prevent those plastic pieces from properly snapping in place. We'll never buy a Dyson vacuum again.
