Multiple restrictions to use these tickets.

To enter a park, both a theme park reservation and a valid ticket for the same park on the same date is required. Theme park reservations for CA Resident Park Hopper Ticket Offer holders are limited in number and subject to the availability of park reservations allocated to the CA Resident Park Hopper Ticket Offer as determined by Disney, applicable blockout dates, and theme park capacity. Reservation availability for CA Resident Park Hopper Ticket Offer holders is not guaranteed for any date and reservations may be difficult to get for any particular date, especially as the ticket expiration date approaches. To ensure best availability, make reservations early. On any given date, park reservations may be available for general theme park tickets even though park reservations allocated to the CA Resident Park Hopper Ticket Offer are fully reserved. CA Resident Park Hopper Ticket Offer holders are not entitled to any reservations Disney makes available to others. Parks, attractions, entertainment, experiences, services and offerings may be modified, limited in availability or unavailable, and are subject to restrictions, change or cancellation without notice. Park admission and offerings are not guaranteed. Visit Welcome to a Land of Magic for more information about visiting the Disneyland Resort.

Money can be made up?? That's horrible advice. That's exactly how people spiral into large amounts of debt, if money can be made up over time it can also be saved up before hand to offset the cost or cover it entirely. It's not like Disney & Costco don't have these promotions every year and they're certainly not going anywhere. Taking advantage of offers and promotions, sure but to just throw financial caution in the wind instead of waiting another year is insane. That's how you grow a $3000 trip into a $6000+ trip because "I'll make up the money later".

I just saw this is better than the Costco deal. Especially if you can live without lightning pass BUT can one really do Disney without it? Expect 2 hour waits for everything I assume?

I looked and a lighting lane multi pass is another $102 PER TICKET (i believe thats on the lowest price and can be higher depending on date)

So this becomes a $350 per ticket compared to the costco's $450, but I bleieve that came with $20 food credit so you can buy a drink or 1 churro that disney adults seem to make out like its better than an orgasm.

On the website if you buy a 3 day, and add a lighting multi pass you cant just select a day or 2. It will always be 3 days to match 3 day ticket.

To save money is there a way to purchase it after for only 1 or 2 days? I figure on the first 2 days with the lightning we can hammer out all the rides, and on 3rd day just whatever. For a party of 6 thats saving $200 omitting 1 day on the lightning.

I also just saw these lighting multi pass doesnt even get you star wars rise of the resistance or cars radiator springs. Thats an ADDITIONAL pass/charge?

Plus another $120 for 3 day parking

Regular Price:
3-Day Park Hopper Ticket

Wow in past years the park hopper part was not included, you had to pick one park. This is a big bonus and probably in response to their lower attendance

there is no further discount for kids tickets (ages 3-9). this still most likely will come out lower for kids, depending on tier level (day of visit).

When is it slow? I plan to make my children ditch school to have a nice experience and not have to wait 2 hours for a 45 sec ride and be forced to tell ourselves that was MAGICAL like all the brainwashed disney adults

it's never NOT crowded there. with all the entitled passholes there trying to make their annual pass worth it (like making it 10 bucks a visit by the end of their contract). fridays are the worst day because they go there after work with their co-workers or family because they can. makes it miserable for paying out of town tourists.

with that said, the last 2 weeks of the year is when they are ALL blocked out!!!

so i do this for a living. i always tell my friends & family, money can be made up and there are ways to pay for your trip. if you book directly, i believe you don't have to pay for everything up front. just make payments when you can, using disney gift cards purchased at a discount. target red card 5% off, sams club, etc..

you don't need lightning lane, do the longer/more popular ones in the morning before 11 or evening after 8. Then you are back at $90 per day both parks and parking. Buy souvenirs before hand on ebay/sale and bring sandwiches/snacks throughout the day

Don't think there is an actual slow day. Went earlier this year during a school week and there were still plenty of people. As for looking for the slow days, I would suggest looking at the daily tickets price. My assumption is the cheaper the ticket, the fewer people disney is expecting that day.

This isn't Florida we're talking about it's usually quite temperate most days of the year lol.

Waiting in line...well yeah but (1) that's a given and (2) if you gameplan well enough you'll be using Genie app to virtual queue most of the rides with serious wait time anyway.
