As a zero/low sugar soda person, I wanted to like this so much. I only had the grape, but the aftertaste was terrible. Almost like a wheaty medicinal thing that is hard to describe.

I'd suggest trying a sampler. Some I find awful, others are good. I only get them on sale, and then I feel they are way overpriced for what they are.

Poppi Sparkling Prebiotic lawsuit
The Poppi Sparkling Prebiotic lawsuit has been resolved with a $8.9 million settlement. Consumers who purchased the beverage between January 23, 2020, and July 18, 2025, are eligible to file a claim. The lawsuit claimed that Poppi's marketing as a "gut healthy" drink was misleading, as the prebiotic content was insufficient for meaningful health benefits. The settlement aims to refund consumers, with amounts varying based on purchase size. Claims can be submitted online or by mailing a form to the settlement administration

Well I definitely pooped immediately after drinking this stuff so it wasn't so misleading to my gut

Have you tried a lot of drinks with Stevia in them? That's what makes all of these taste off for me.
Maybe I am in the minority here, but I like these Poppi sodas. I don't like how expensive these are, but IMO there are several that are better than OliPop and they are generally cheaper. At this price point they are more palatable - less than $1.50 is a good deal compared to most places. If you don't like it, don't buy it. I am cutting sugar out of my diet as much as possible, so these are great to me. Slice just came out with their own version of these that I am hoping are cheaper but still good.
All that to say that I bought two 12 packs. Thanks for the heads up!
Agreed these are way over hyped. Especially the root beer. That does not taste like root beer at all fam. That said the newest flavor, the fruit punch one, was pretty good
TLDR: Get the variety packs to try them, they will not cure your IBS, but they are a decent supplement
It's crazy how we say this is a scam product, they have very little sugar and are the first to balance the artificial sweeteners to not make them taste horrible.. the prebiotics are just what they claim, they are not probiotics like acidophilus or anything, but can help gut health.. they will not cure your colitis though.
The disconnect is the flavors, we hate some but love others.. we use them as a base for mocktails, we do not drink them like we would cheap soda or water.. one a day, which we are fine with.
