No, they are similar to the blue plates that are similarly cryogrip. I have a couple of these same plates, and they are great.

For me, it's lower energy use. In comparison to the Bambu textured PEI plate I don't have to heat the bed as much in order to have good adhesion.

much better adhesion than a PEI plate, especially if the original PEI plate is starting to wear
Touching this plate is like touching sandpaper--very grippy.

I had read that there were consistency problems with BIQU plates. Some apparently were not being produced with the correct texture. Have they fixed that problem?

And how are yours wearing for you?

It's in the filament settings in your slicer. You can even save the temperature for the filament depending on what kind of plate you have (at least in Bambu and Orca Slicer)
