I never knew I needed a straight head hammer until recently... with the curve you can't get onto some nails in certain positions..

It's hilarious Estwing funded Ruri no Houseki--an anime TV series about busty girls exploring mineralogy. Someone in the company has a type.

I whacked my thumb but good with the waffle-cone version of this on Mother's Day 2003. Wife was extremely pregnant with twins and had to take me to the ER. Fun times. Good hammer, though. I still have it, and it still drives nails and breaks fingers.

Hum...let me guess. Perhaps price has something to do with it compared to the $300+ price tag for a single Martinez M1 hammer (⊙ _ ⊙ ).

Note: Martinez M1 hammer will not improve your hammering skills, or turn you into a master craftsman nor artisan.

Dumb comment, that's like saying I don't get why anyone would buy a Toyota Corolla and not a Lamborghini instead. You can buy about 40 of these hammers for the same price as a Martinez M1. My favorite hammer that I used in construction for almost 10 years was the original 22oz Husky hammer for like $15, 20 years ago.

Man. You really have to make me go look up this hammer huh? You did it. Mission accomplished

So just a titanium funky looking hammer.

During my search Temu came up with a $70 titanium hammer.

Still have no clue why it's better? Lighter?

Plus, when you hit your hand and throw it in anger you won't jump off the roof after it like you would the $300 hammer.

You really just compared a Martinez hammer to a hammer from Temu of all places?

You obviously don't use hammers or do handiwork as you know something as simple as type of grip or handle material can dramatically and drastically change your user experience

Think driving an S Class or 7 Series versus the Toyota Corolla someone mentioned above, Is it grossly more expensive? Yes. Is it a markedly better experience? Definitely.

If you are hammering 3-5 nails a year then I could see why you wouldn't get it, but even then buy once, cry once. Have two Martinez hammers, haven't met one person that told me "oh man you spent $300 on that you are crazy my hammer is just as good"

Most of the time the reaction i get is "man that is one nice hammer probably cost a pretty penny"

You get what you pay for, and constantly ordering garbage from Temu is actively harming the US economy and boosting China's economy off shit replica goods
