Are these any good? I need to buy new underwear pretty badly. Been wearing the same ones for like 5y.

honestly it depends on the thigh. If you're closer to the model (my brother works in a tire shop swears by them) it's fine. If you've got any sort of mass (me-bad at peer pressure, big on leg day) they roll up unevenly and make for some chafing.

Got these last time it was on sale, they run small, size up.

These are not great… they are soft and comfy, but loose elasticity rather easily and the comment about "depends on your thigh" is spot on as they constantly rise up because of it. Other viscose or modal combos are much better.

sorry to contradicts every post here, but the 3.5 viscose does a stabilizing job
so do not size up, otherwise it will not work... I'm a XL waist but i got these in L.
I also ordered the 5.5 now that the price is finally back down off $14 again.
i also ordered the polyester version, but I'll probably return them unopened

I can't attest to how the viscose survive washing, but i will probably put them in
a delicates net bag so they clean without other clothes twisting them out of shape.

The chafing is the worst

Not enough room in the front groin area for me. Anyone else have this problem, or is it just me?
