My $630 refurb of this model arrives today. Mixed feelings about only saving 225 bucks on a refurb vs new after the Costco rebate. This is a fine deal at 900 with the Costco return policy.

No complaints as it is a huge improvement over the TCL TV I previously had in the bedroom.

I hate to say this as I won't ever buy an LG but that the B4 has a full remote vs the Sony's mini one is enough to sway me.

LG produces great TVs that are very competitive and most times, slightly better than Sony... BUT they tend to die QUICKLY and SHORTLY THEREAFTER the manufacturer's warranty expires. Sorry you got unlucky, but there is no reputable source that has any data showing LG is any less reliable than other major brands at the same price point, especially in the OLED realm. In fact, their OLEDs are basically the most reliable out of the OLED manufacturers.People in every thread on TV's make the same comment you just did about whatever brand it is, Samsung, Sony, LG, TLC, Hisense, etc.

I feel like people have said that about Vizio in the past too and yet i've got one in my living room going on 10 years and another in my other room going on 5 years, both just fine (though the living room has a logic board issue that I need to replace).

No it isn't, Jack Rando. Bravia 8's look way better to my eyes - I wanted to like the B4 but I've seen them side by side a few times and the Bravia wins easily. And I'll take that interface over WebOS every day of the week.

You really think TCLs are as reliable as Sony and LG? I wish they were, because I've bought several, and while they were nice for the money, I don't want to buy new ones every 3 years and I'm done compromising and will go higher-end now.
