WHen buying a freezer keep in mind a lot of that size is insulation an casing. 5 cu feet is small, it gets smaller if you use baskets to keep things organized and leave space to rummage thru it. . As you increase the inner space the outer space needed to make it slightly larger decreases. 5cu ft is a lot of freezer with little space. Might suggest checking them out in stores or at least watching videos on them. For me personally, one athletic male I had gotten the 7.5 in the past to compliment my one fridge/freezer combo, and a larger size mini fridge. Together was just enough to not have many complaints but enough room to buy everything for a month when it went on sale. I also ditched storage bins an used strong clear plastic bags. My complaint was they were just intrusive enough to prevent me from enjoying what the 7.5 cu ft could offer. Including the bins failure to accommodate larger or odd shaped items both inside the bins and interfering with packages outside of them.

EDIT: this standing freezer I found. If those drawers are big enough to fit large frozen pizzas, this would be ideal for me, highly unlikely to fit a $100 meatcase box unless broken down. You will find yourself not getting to the bottom of these box freezers. You will find yourself attempting to organize it to resolve the issue. You will find that sitting there with your freezer open for an hour playing lego build a meal is time consuming an leads to frost build up and some stuff slightly thawing out. You will find stuff at the bottom of the chest freezers you had scheduled to eat 6 months ago ; but just bought more of cause you thought you were out. You will find defrosting requires an empty freezer. You will find that organizing a 7 cu ft box isnt fast times at ridgemont high levels of entertainment. I cannot comment on "realtree" brand, but I seen this and thought it would solve the problems I have with chest freezers. Again the 7 cu ft on this will be quite a bit decreased by the shelving, and more so its the irregular or oversized packages that is the biggest issue I have when organizing these an preventing waste.
