Nonupgradeable. It's built in to the processor.

no, ram is soldered, and this is not an AI machine. main advantages of this one is light weight, quality screen, and long battery life...

I had the gram 16, I did not like it. The keyboard had a weird layout, the key travel was barely there. The entire laptop felt flimsy and it's heat management was real bad.

I took mine apart to replace the screen. The screen is held to the body purely with double sided tape. Not a single screw. It's an engineering marvel. No wonder it's only 2 lbs.

A similar model with same 16" screen has a very low PMW Frequency of 481Hz.

That price needs to come down more for it to be a good deal.

My screen broke when I dropped it on tile. I was also able to replace the screen for about a hundred bucks and 20 minutes of time. I love these laptops.

this OP is good deal if you want a super light 16 or 17" laptop, that does NOT have touchscreen, with 16gb ram (cannot be upgraded) and don't mind older slower cpu.

If you want a 16 or 17" super light TOUCHSCREEN, 32gb ram, 2tb ssd, newer faster cpu, then go for costco one that comes with 2 years warranty and 90 days return policy. This is additional $700 ... you decide if that is worth it.

no soldered it is built into the chip. The lunar lake chips are pretty okay for AI tasks bc u can use the built in memory to run stuff which is like 26gb on the 32gb models so you can run some larger models although at really slow speeds
