you can't beat the price performance on this unless you need better support. three 2280 nvme slots is outstanding, along with all of the other features.

This deal makes no sense to me.... so sorry.
Isn't the 890m around the same price.... I will provide links shortly.
This is just one example... yes, it is more money....

And I don't know where to stop cause I would probably get the more expensive unit.

Mini pcs have confused me in my research. Essentially I plan on installing bazzite and using this as a replacement to a docked steam deck for when I'm too lazy to play steam games at the computer desk. It sounds like this should do 1080 gaming for the most part? I may just pull the trigger so I don't have to keep weighing the percentage increase in performance to dollar value. otherwise i keep ending up at a 1500 dollar 395+ unit and I'm like well I can just build another computer for that

Is it worth it to cancel my order if I want to use it for gaming and general media server stuff? I haven't kept up with CPU tech the last few years

IMHO, probably not worth cancelling. The NPU in this line of Ryzen is relatively weak and only useful for those that want to mess with local AI stuff without spending on a dedicated, more powerful graphics card.

for a GPU?
use the occulink port with a EGPU dock or get a m.2 nvme to pci-express adapter.

Thanks! Nothing that really concerns me then.

Wait a minute now. I do believe GMKtec has a better reputation than Acemagic. If the Acemagic unit seemed to be a better deal on paper, this might be a reason. Everyone has different priorities, so... you do you.
