I can't vouch for Amazon's stock because I only buy Pellegrino from Costco, but this "goes flat in a month" thing is completely alien to me. I have months-old stock in my garage that is perfectly fine. Could be specific to this size bottle?

- the standard glass bottles has a nice taste and is moderately carbonated
- the small plastic bottles have higher carbonation, but somehow don't taste as good as the standard
- the 1L bottles have a similar initial carbonation to standard glass and also tasted worse than standard
We've done blind tastings between the standard glass Pellegrino, individual sized plastic, and with Perrier too because we had all three at one point. We actually could taste a difference between each one, even though two of the waters should be the same product in different packaging. In any case, we found plastic bottled Pellegrino to be worse than glass in a noticeable manner, so carbonation issues aside, we've opted to go with glass only.Join The Conversation
