Anyone know how this compares to Maty's? Just learned they've been discontinued & that's all we've used for my little one

Just different ingredients. The main ingredient in this Cetaphil one is petroleum, which is the same as Aquaphor (the most popular baby ointment). Petroleum is known as the best at creating a barrier to prevent water loss. Maty's, on the other hand, is all about natural ingredients like plant oils. Some parents prefer Maty's even though it's not as effective at sealing. Personally, I like Aquaphor/Cetaphil because they have fewer ingredients, which lowers the risk of irritation or incompatibility with other skincare or lotions. But that's just preference.

As for the deal, I found a better one at Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/...4e75fe6a96
It's the same price as Amazon ($8.97), but it had a $1.50 manufacturer cashback (Walmart Cash). So it comes out to $7.47. The catch is the $1.50 Walmart Cash only showed up in the Walmart app, so YMMV.

Thanks for the breakdown! Ah, I believe petroleum-based ointments aren't recommended for cloth diapers, which is what we use. So I'll continue with my search, thanks for the info!
