My iPhone 13 activated 10/9/24 unlocked today after restarting. I think this is the first datapoint on 1 year unlock. As usual paid for one month then put in sock drawer.

- During that time, the phone can only use T-Mobile-network SIMs, including Metro and T-Mobile itself.
✅ Good news:Because T-Mobile and Metro share the same network and SIM compatibility, your T-Mobile pSIM will work fine right away — no unlock required.
You'll still be locked to the T-Mobile network (so no AT&T, Verizon, etc.), but for your own T-Mobile pSIM, it's totally okay.

If not, I will have to wait 2 months to unlock the Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 from Total Wireless. I just need a newer phone to upgrade from my old iPhone 7 Yes, there are still people with older phone. In fact, I saw someone at the farmer market yesterday with an even older phone than mine. I couldn't believe my eyes that someone still used an iPhone even older than mine.
