Just a heads up. When entering personal info on order, do not capitalize your first or last name. I read about this from another thread and it seems to work at keeping their security system from raising false security flags. Also used chrome incognito and VPN. Order went thru without a hitch.

I want to remind everyone that there is no need to port in a number for this deal. Slickdeals staff replaced my original post with their own that states a port is required. SD staff is wrong on this.

for regular T-Mobile members, will this work right out of the box like the Edge 2024? or do I need to wait 11 more months after this?

Do you have to open the box and activate the phone or can I just put this on my shelf for a year and then open it next year and connect it to WiFi and it'll be unlocked for me to use overseas?

With # port you can get iPhone 14 for $99 from Metro. It may be a better update because you do not have to leave Apple OS.

Be careful with ChatGPT because I asked something similar and they gave me a totally different answer.
I actually tried that. But because I'm on T-Mobile, the number can be transferred but the discount doesn't apply. It would be $300 instead of $100. I tried using a Google Voice number. When I checked, it showed $100, but after adding to the cart, it switched to $300.

I tried to complete the order online, but it was stuck with a spinning circle that never back, after the address verification.

The online chat provided no help, since i was just a limited bot.

I entered the order over the phone, but the procedure tool almost an hour. There was one time that the representative did not come back for ~15 minutes. He told me there was a problem with their system, which is probably the same issue I was having trying to complete the order online, so if you run into the same problem, you may just want to wait a little while.

Like most of you, I plan to turn off, autopay, and put the phone in the drawer for the next year. Does anyone know if it will cause any problem, if I try to transfer out the number during that first month? I do not have any experience with eSIM, only physical SIMs.

This seems like a really good deal considering it does not require porting in a number.

I want this but after the Moto Edge Plus 2023, I'm not sure I'd want to have 2 "fun" devices. I'd rather just get the iPhone 14 for $99+$55 since I can trade it in to Apple later. Anyone else not sure what they'd do with multiple "fun" phones?

Good deal. Too bad cpu is mediatek, they overheat, but so is my current phone with snapdragon, so I decided to bite. Too bad, I have to wait 1 year, any way sooner?

Any good cheap cases for this phone?
I would like to know this too if anyone have a good recommendation. I spent hours just to look for a case and screen protector for the Moto G Stylus 5G - 2024. This would be my first flipped phone. But I rather it stays unfolded like a normal phone. Are there are rigid cases that won't fold? That way I can keep it unfold like a normal phone. Thanks.
