This Metro Razr 2024 deal is mainly about a cheap foldable with a one year Metro lock and eSIM activation. The strongest upside is the price, with multiple orders going through around $65 or even $35 for a second line, and the phone can be used on Wi Fi or as a secondary device while waiting. Community testing also points to a possible unlock path on some Android 14 units, especially older November 2024 builds. The main catches are frequent stock and checkout failures, plus many reports that newer Android 15 or March 2025 units stay locked or hit server errors. A good fit if you are comfortable with the wait and the activation hassle.

I somehow got through by choosing a different shipping method (ground shipping instead of 2 day shipping). Nice deal to get each phone for $65, even if it will take a year to unlock.

Nice! Do you think there will be a better deal next month than this? Or should I get another Razr?

There might be another deal better but in my opinion, chances are small because we have no idea how many stock there is out there that Motorola is trying to offload. Metro is just buying these stock from Motorola and using them to entice consumers into using their service for a year. These phones are about $350 unlocked in other online stores and that's a price to sell at marginal profit.

Great point, I'm thinking the same here, these go for a lot for retail price still. I think I'm going to get another one while I can. Anyone successful in getting a fourth line ordered through Metro online? I see on the fourth attempt people here haven't been successful.

That actually worked for me as well while using all the other tips at same time... REPPED! (Steps I used today to make it work: inPrivate window in Edge / hotspot through Total Wireless phone / used a VPN on my computer / used a different email. Bought as new customer. and of course GROUND SHIPPING)

Over the years it has been found that the best way to order additional phones is to use your first Moto phone with WiFi off to get each of your additional phones.

Will their system allow us to add a 5th, 6th... line from the first order?

That's what I did and it's still ringing up full price for my 4th line.
