Only 100% cotton or wool socks deserve my respect.

those are so rare nowadays.

They're thin but not the "good" kind of thin and didn't feel great on my feet. They're not made by Cole Haan - just produced under their name.

Gold Toes are all 30-60% nylon or polyester now. Even Bombas dress crews are 72% cotton, same as these. Both are far more expensive.

They do have a lot of whatever chemical gets put on new clothes to make them feel "soft", at the expense of making them feel synthetic until you wash them a couple times. So, don't just pull apart the package and wear them! Wash them at least once, preferably twice, and they'll feel like regular socks.

I'm not being sarcastic! I genuinely want to know, because my last few pairs are starting to fade with age and washing. I can't find a single online retailer that sells dress socks with higher cotton content than the 72% these already have.
Gold Toe, Bombas? Nope. Joseph Abboud, Vera Wang, Egara? Nope. Oh hey, Falke offers 93% cotton and only 5% polyester... ... ... they cost $31 for a single pair. Help a man out!
