Only 100% cotton or wool socks deserve my respect.

I wish they would bring back the Kirkland brand.

I got these and one of them got a hole in the heel after one day of wear. Instant return.
They're thin but not the "good" kind of thin and didn't feel great on my feet. They're not made by Cole Haan - just produced under their name.

Can you name some? I would like to find some too, but I've struck out completely online. (A few % spandex is both OK and necessary.)

Gold Toes are all 30-60% nylon or polyester now. Even Bombas dress crews are 72% cotton, same as these. Both are far more expensive.

Are your insoles made of sandpaper? I've worn them several times each (got them in store on a previous sale) and they're fine so far, with no perceptible wear at the heel or toe.

They do have a lot of whatever chemical gets put on new clothes to make them feel "soft", at the expense of making them feel synthetic until you wash them a couple times. So, don't just pull apart the package and wear them! Wash them at least once, preferably twice, and they'll feel like regular socks.

I got the black 6-pack in store about a year ago and they're going strong. No holes or deterioration beyond normal wear n tear yet. On days I commute to work, I wear then 12+ hours a day. I bought another 6-pack a couple months ago when they were on sale to use when the current ones get old. They'll easily last another 6-12 months.

Yes, they're about $7. They're a little thinner but comfortable with dress shoes and they stay in place.
