You don't own digital goods, and video game preservation is notoriously bad. There have been plenty of games that have been delisted over the years, meaning that you can never download "your" game again once it's delisted. So, you have to install it before then, and keep it on your drive, taking up space forever. Not to mention that physical games are almost always cheaper, and last but not least, you can let friends borrow the games, or trade/sell them to recoup some money when you know you'll never play the game again. Physical just has so many more pros, compared to digital.
I've got a digital edition - any exclusives recommendations from this list?
Stray is a great cozy platformer with a good story. Dead Space is nice if you wanna get spooky. Bulletstorm is great if you want a big, fun, stupid shooter.
Edit: noticed too late you said exclusive. None of these are but they're still good.
Why do you guys still prefer hard copy? Just curious, like you wouldn't say that for music. I used to feel that way but have moved on.
For me it depends on price. If I were to choose between physical or digital for the same price, physical wins hands down. I like to physically own something that is tangible. If it's a game that is heavily discounted or if it's a game that has DLC included that isn't in the physical copy, then I'd go digital. Most recent example of a game I bought digital was House of the Dead Remake for $2.50 since the physical is $30.
I do still buy my music physically

Not true about music. Look how many people have not only gone back to physical music but they even skipped the highest quality music delivery system and went all the way to horrible vinyl. I can't wait until gamers revert to multi disk cd games
