Have this bag, and it's been working great over the last 3 years. can handle getting roughed up as checked bag or as normal carry on. just know with the spinner version you are losing some capacity because of the wheels. At 160 it's a steal

Glad you were able to get Amazon to price adjust! I didn't realize they still did that and required buy and return for the longest now.

they said they don't do that but will make a one time exception.

"compact carry on" looks like its a little shorter than normal carryons

Yea this one is intended to fit on most domestic and international flights.I have a 22 rollaboard from travel pro that can be very tight on international.

I wouldn't get this if you don't travel internationally. It's smaller than a normal carry on and even then it's smaller than a 2 wheel roller board

I also care about how good the wheels are. I have not heard of Quince in the same conversation as TravelPro re wheels. How are they? I need a carry on with good wheels, above looks. It needs to handle the weight of itself and a heavy laptop bag on top...

Probably because this thing is bulky and costly to ship. Honestly they should price match to cut down on shipping cost, period.
