Their traditional line of D3/D5/copper core pans are still made in the US. Their anodized non-stick line is made in china. The SS lids from the D3/D5/CC pans may also be made in china.

I got two "damaged packaging" items at the last sale and the packaging was completely fine. One item was also incorrect all together and they sent me a label and the correct item (brand new) within a week. Highly recommend.

I'm looking at going to their sale in Washington, PA in December. it's strictly their seconds and says up to 70% off (we live a couple hours away).

I haven't followed pricing closely to see what these additional 15% off type sales bring to vs the retail price, if it's worth going.

The annual Factory 2nds sale in December has been going on for decades. It's only in the past few years that they brought the sale to the Internet (via this cheesy site), and made it more frequent.

I created this FAQ that answers all of the common questions about the sale, about 2nds, and about All-Clad in general (including the differences betwene the products).

Suggestions welcome.

Stores like Marshalls and TJ Maxx often have excellent "deals" on All-Clad. The kitchen shears are $30 online, but I snagged them at TJ Maxx for under $15.

I just realized that the OP suggested the D3 paella pan at over $100.

I'm a big All-Clad fan (I maintain the FAQ linked above), but SDers please don't go buying things like stainless paella pans and utensils from All-Clad. That's not what they are good at.

hmm, looks like I got sent a D5 5-quart saute pan, instead of the D3 5-quart I ordered
would you exchange or leave it? this is my first experience with stainless steel pan, so not too knowledgeable on whether the difference is huge
