I'm not sure what relevance that has to this deal. Kioxia (formerly a part of Toshiba) is a major NAND producer. They have a partnership (sharing technology and production) with SanDisk (formerly a part of WD). Their NAND is used in a wide variety of drives, including at least one variant of the Lexar NM790. They do make OEM drives for companies like Dell, though they're not the exclusive supplier.

Yes, many of us know Kioxia is a spinoff from Toshiba, and though it's not a secret, it's definitely NOT a well known commercial brand.
My statement is for those that have never heard of it, which is going to be the vast majority of people out there. It also confirms that Kioxia is an "OEM" supplier - another term that the majority of people on SD don't understand even when they think they do.
As for Sandisk, they WERE a separate company until WD bought them. Now WD cut them loose, so you're missing the most important part of that story too, but thanks again for the unnecessary pedantry.
PS - I have a Kioxia drive. Also, Dell does not provide any information on SSD drives. When you dig, you'll find the Kioxia brand name across their product lines (consumer and business/professional), but I honestly don't know, or care, if they have total exclusivity.
