the A25 performed better than the Moto G Power: from here: http://www.pcmag.com/reviews/sams...axy-a25-5g The jump in data from 1.5GB to 4.5GB makes this a nice deal.
On Geekbench 6, a suite of tests that evaluates raw computing power, the Galaxy A25 got a single-core score of 964 and a multi-core score of 2,058. The Moto G Power, which has a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chip, scored 889 and 2,345 on the same tests.
On the PCMark Work 3.0 test, which simulates general mobile tasks, the Galaxy A25 reached 12,718. That's far better than both the Moto G Power (11,708) and the Nord N30 (10,245).
To test graphics performance, I ran the GFXBench Aztec Ruins benchmark at a resolution of 2,560 by 1,440 pixels. Here, the Galaxy A25 managed 10fps. The Moto G Power fell slightly behind (7.2fps), as did the Nord N30 (7.8fps), while the Nuu B30 Pro did slightly better (11fps).

Memory
6GB RAM | 128GB Storage (up to 1TB on microSD card)

Assuming this is the same phone TRACFONE has on their website.

I got this phone about 6 months ago ( free upgrade from Safelink). It has been better than serviceable. I came from a Motarola Action that stopped holding a charge. There were a lot of problems with the Motorola software wise and the battery life was pretty bad.
Pros- Large Battery and efficient enough processor. Fantastic screen. Plenty of memory at 128GB for me withe microsd up to a Terabyte. Works flawlessly with all the apps I want and need.
Cons- Call volume and speaker aren't great. Camera but with the Google Pixel software it greatly improves. Get a different launcher Samsung is not very good so I use paid version of Novalauncher the I payed for with Google Play credits .99 on Black Friday.
I'm not even close to a power or even heavy user so it's been great for me.

Wish they'd bring back a phone with the unlimited text/minutes & 24GB 365 day plan for under $100 again.

I wonder when they do these tests.. Do they remove all the Bloatware and animations before testing them? You really have to tweak these phones before using them..
this is the fatal flaw with cheap android phones is they are full featured but relatively average performers (not for gamers) but then they leave so much bloat and unneeded connectivity enabled by default, that people prematurely conclude they are junk, then go buy $1000 iphones. i have both an a25 and a moto g 2025, and it takes a few hours of work to make them usable, and then after every major os update, you may have to go back and make sure the update didn't just enable what you intentional leave disabled.
a useful tool for this work is; Canta (white/red icon in playstore), click the funnel icon, any/recommended, then go thru maybe a hundred apps and functions that need to be stopped/disabled (like assistant) or uninstalled entirely (like games and facebook). the good news is if you disable something you may actually need later, once it's needed it will simply ask you for permission to enable it, you won't end up breaking your phone. there is stuff you do need (nfc bt printing sharing) but if you keep them disabled while not in use, you not only gain performance but extend battery life between recharging.

I don't know PCMAG test their phones, but I have both, the A25 and Moto G Power, and I can guaranteed the moto G power is waaaayy faster. Moto G Power has no lag, even with all my accounts, email, social media, still works with no lag. But the A25 is super laggy, right out of the box you're gonna notice a little bit lag, and even more when you start using it, specially if it's your main phone. Email, social media, banks, that's just way too much for that little phone. I'm not saying is a bad phone or not worth it, but it's definitely slow.

Predictably, HSN has zero information about the phone. While most have 6GB ram, this could have 4GB?
Ummm, right from the HSN page: "Enjoy 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage (up to 1TB on microSD card)".

I always refill using eBay and have never had a problem. I've used the seller "mrrefill" and direct from TracFone's eBay store. Be sure to add a comment with your phone number so they can apply the refill directly to your phone. I can't remember if you include it in the shipping section or as a comment to the seller. It's easy to miss. The refill appears in maybe 2-3 days.

I have the A36 and there is no lag. Also have the A16 and it's fine. I had the 2024 Moto G Power and it's a good phone, but really not any faster than the Samsung's. I'll take the AMLOED screen and better cameras of the Samsungs over the Moto's and bonus is 5 years of updates for the A16 and 6 years for the A36. Comparison of the A36 vs Moto G Stylus 2025. Spoiler..the A36 wins by a lot. nanoreview.net/en/phone-compare/samsung-galaxy-a36-5g-vs-motorola-moto-g-stylus-5g-2025 EDIT: the reason I mention the A36 is because it's free with Total port in. I was out the door at $49.50 from a dealer.

Some Amex cards have a 25% off on tracfone purchases, upto $30 max.
That would be for purchases directly from Tracfone website and not from third party sellers. I have it as well on my AmEx Blue.

Does the unused data from a yearly unlimited t/t 24gb plan also rollover w/an additional 3gb from mrrefill or just t/t & only 3gb

Yes, you can go to the Tracfone website and add minutes/texts/ and gigabytes of data at any time. Keep in mind that this is a prepaid plan that comes with 1 year of service. You will need to go to the website to extend the service at least once a year. You can also extend 90 days at a time. The last time I did this I got another year of service, plus 1500 minutes/1500 texts/1.5 gigabytes data for about $120. This deal is quite generous in that it includes the phone, plus 4500 texts and 4.5 gigabytes.
