Skil's lineup is pretty good, made by the same parent company as Kobalt/Flex/Ego. While not a chart topper for seeing which brand can drive 30 half-inch screws into oakwood the fastest for youtube videos it's going to serve the average person just fine for hanging photos, tvs, building a shed, etc.

Had this exact combo for years. Excellent tools imo. The batteries are on sale at floor and decor right now but the 5ah one is the better value due to having to pay for shipping imo.

I have the 12v versions of these and have been very happy with them. Well made, easy to handle and always gets my jobs done around the house. I also have an excellent 24v Kobalt set as a backup for heavy duty jobs. I love both sets.
