they remove the drive lock for spinning rust but if you're using any nvme storage that must be on their storage hcl.this is more reputation damage control I would want to see 1-2 years before looking a buying a new one. to make sure they don't back track on the back track

Unless you really want DSM which is a valid reason, look elsewhere. Their shenanigans were not good with the proprietary hard drive fiasco.

I give them very bad good os and very good surveillance camera software

I am so happy that ubiquiti is starting to eat their lunch.
