We have the same one at the gym it's not too stable, I wouldn't buy it.

I bought something similar (not this brand but something basically exactly the same). It was really unstable so I returned it. I agree with the other poster who said to get a tower with the pull up bar. Those will be way more stable than this thing

Make your own with PVC pipe for much cheaper. It's easier than you think, in fact there may be no steps at all (just assembly) if you don't want to saw the pipe for a specific size. You can find directions online.
$85 for this at regular price is ridiculous, let alone $44. Make it yourself for $15 or less

This. I bought a similar set and they're really crappy. Ended up doing dips in a different way, and now they just sit in the corner.

Wouldn't 2x 1" steel pipe, flange and a 2x4 mounted to a stud work? $24

Sturdiness was the main negative factor in reviews...

Got mine today, I think it's worth the money, it's plenty stable on flat ground. There's some movement when you're on carpet but it's still fine. I'm shorter than average though and only weigh 145lbs, so it's probably a different experience for a 225lb guy.
