Loads, actually. Vinyl media has made a major resurgence in recent years. Tons of artists releasing multiple variants of vinyl as well.

Collectors and music enthusiasts. I personally like how vinyl usually has higher dynamic range compared to CD versions of my music.

It has By-Tor and the Snow Dog, best thing they did before 2112.

Quite a few. Streaming is convenient but many songs or versions of albums are not available there. This is a fantastic album. I personally prefer the CD version released in the 80's but for vinyl fans this is a great price.

Modern CD versions. 80's and early 90's CDs had great dynamic range. Beware though, many modern vinyl albums use the same compressed masters as streaming and CDs. Learned this the hard way with Purple Rain.

Dating yourself old codger.

That isn't the only good one on that album. I've still got my 80s vinyl.

Don't get the hate for caress of steel, these two albums are clearly an evolutionary arc to 2112.

Vinyl is physically incapable of the dynamic range CD can offer. It's the poor mastering that ruins a lot of CDs, especially from the Loudness Wars era.

A lot of people, myself included. Huge difference in sound between streaming and vinyl.

If you asked if there was any good reason, then no.. But they are buying vinyl. Blame hipsters, blame nostalgia, whatever. Those are the vagaries of trendiness.

I still think that album cover looks like an alternate logo for Psygnosis

YES! (different band) I loved Psygnosis games growing up. The Shadow of the Beast soundtrack lives rent-free in my head.
