There is no guarantee of this though since a lot of streaming platforms are removing shows to save money

It looks like you can't really buy these as there is no way to download them to your computer that I can find. So this is just renting access to them? Apparently some 3rd party apps will let you save them as an actual file on a PC, but not supported by Fandango. It says you can download temporarily on android/IOS devices, but who watches tv on their phone?

There is no legitimate way you can just download non-DRM files for any movie or show.
If downloading on a device is important to you, you should buy everything through Apple/iTunes and have devices/computers with the AppleTV app available so that you can download items to watch within the AppleTV app.

Why I only go apple. Fadango won't let you download and haven't for years now, apple does.
But for 8 bucks Im still in. Hopefully someday there will be a tv anywhere option.

Yes you can. And even if they are DRM, you can still play them and legally record them with a digital cloner box. Nobody uses apple or itunes anymore. Or Apple TV for that matter, well except old people.
