Just want to throw this out there, just like eating fat does not make you fat (excess calories cause weight gain), eating whey with higher cholesterol does not increase your cholesterol numbers. lol, whey protein is going to be the reason why someone gets a heart attack.

Anyway, to back it up with evidence:

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/arti...MC9143438/

From the conclusion of this review from a few years ago:

A great number of epidemiological studies and meta-analysis indicate that dietary cholesterol is not associated with CVD risk nor with elevated plasma cholesterol concentrations. Clinical interventions in the last 20 years demonstrate that challenges with dietary cholesterol do not increase the biomarkers associated with heart disease risk. Further, in the specific circumstances where eggs are the source of dietary cholesterol, an improvement in dyslipidemias is observed due to the formation of less atherogenic lipoproteins and changes in HDL associated with a more efficient reverse cholesterol transport. However, if the cholesterol sources are consumed with saturated and trans fats, as happens in the Western diet pattern, increases in plasma cholesterol may be observed.

3.9 lbs are also 25% off with subscription. I chose the chocolate flavored, and the total was $23.72 including the tax.

Plenty of maltodextrin (carb filler), but it's not super ridiculous. It's fine if you aren't low carb in general. I'll pass though. 7g carbs for 30 protein. MyProtein powder is half of that ratio, generally.

45g for 30g of protein so 66% concentrated and $.02/g of protein.

while I don't like flavored whey (don't like added sugar or artificial sweetener etc.). $.02/g is about as cheap as it gets.

I think it's just that the cholesterol in milk is concentrated when it's reduced to protein powder. One scoop is about 3.5 cups of milk, and 3.5 cups of milk is roughly 30g of protein and 100mg of cholesterol.

Mediocre protein, but it's good for flavour variety. I used the peanut butter last time to mix into Greek yogurt, half a dose.

I will mix this half a scoop into strawberry 🍓 Greek and add a couple cut up strawberries.

chocolate flavor is the only flavor of protein powder that I have been able to tolerate for as long as I can remember. (To me, all other flavors taste good the first few times, but quickly get nauseating after that.) However, I recently came across some reports/articles regarding "heavy metals" typically found in dark chocolate is also present in chocolate protein powder. What's the next most tolerable flavor in your guys' opinions?

my opinion is that it increases the weight of the product but you get less servings. I usually go for ~$5/lb for protein powders, but the added carbs make it not worth. just my 2 cents

Despite what other's have said, I find it mixes very well but I use a Blendtec blender to make my protein smoothies and I actually like the chocolate. I do buy their Isolate version quite often too.
