The BIN on these cards last time was 451129, but that may have changed over the past couple of months. Staples processes their own gift card purchases, so paying with a card that earns well at office supply stores is the best way to get rewards off of these.
The limit is 5 in theory, but 4 in practice; the fee is present in cart as part of the subtotal before the discount kicks in, and Staples will not sell more than a $1,000 subtotal of gift cards in a single transaction. As such, throwing five $200s into your cart will show a message from Staples asking you to remove items from your cart before you can continue.
Just a warning, the virtual visa's are much more difficult to use than the physical ones - a lot of in store places won't accept them and even many online stores have isssues with them.

bull. online is easy as pie. I have used these at various online stores/utitilities and have never had an issue. probably close to 100 different online stores by now.
And of course you can't use them in store, it CLEARLY SAYS SO IN THE FIRST LINE!

What does one gain from buying these cards, other than earning 5 UR points per dollar? Given the opportunity costs, the gains are even smaller.
And it's even sadder THIS gets asked nearly every time this deal is posted. In a nutshell, if you find no value in doing this deal, then there is no reason for you to do it. 5UR points on my Saphire reserve IS enough of a reason for me because they are used for travel. Also, great for meeting minimum spend on new cards...
In my case I am only 2500 Tier Qualifying points from getting A-list Preferred on Southwest for next year, so this helps me in that regard as well if i can buy a couple thousand..
100% no.
Also, no points will be earned for purchasing these.
Years ago I remember people were buying these cards with credit cards just so you could get points to use for travel. If you can no longer get points what is the benefit to buying these cards?
