Additionally, if you accidentally mix up the cards and try to enter a MC on a Visa or vice versa - it will automatically lock the card down and you will need to call in to get a new card to use the rest of the funds.
Luckily I had already registered the card, so verifying I was the owner was easy. Unsure what happens if you get a card and haven't registered it yet............
