Yes, As per the manager at my store, staples seems to clear store inventory which is not moving or moving it very slowly.
Make sure to activate the offer in stapler's app or online in your rewards account.

Honestly, this is one of those situations when creating a new deal thread off an existing deal that simply reset is counterproductive.

There was a great deal of important information and hard work put into the original 100% back in rewards luggage thread by the OP and many posters. In fact, rather than create a new thread (I easily could have) I elected at 2AM ET this morning to post the information about the new/reset offer in the original thread. I asked the Mods to merge this thread with that one but was shot down on a technicality.

Sometimes creating a new thread is counterproductive to the community as it is in this case IMO.

It's the same offer, just reset, and could have easily been updated in that thread. There was no need to start a new thread. I POSTED THIS NEW OFFER IN THAT THREAD at 2AM Eastern Time! I elected not to start a new thread because there's way too many important tips and info shared in that post by many SD'ers. Rules in this situation were made to be broken, stupid rule. I've already taken it up with the Mods.

I can see your point especially about all the added info but I wouldn't have thought to go check that old post thinking it was expired.
I did however get an alert this morning on this new post so that was very helpful.

I don't disagree, but once the mods mark the old thread as expired, it disappears from the main pages after a few hours. Hence, the need to start a new one.

Also, make sure to double cheack before you leave the store that the idiots who work at Staples removed the security tag. At one of my Staples stores, they forgot to remove it and now I am home and it is a big pain to get the thing off. (what is the prupose of the thing of the thing if it didn't even ring when I walked out of the store.)

Yes, but did it disappear or did someone alert it as expired, and if so, who? My staples posts from last week didn't expire, I did update them earlier this AM about 10AM ET so I have to question how only the luggage rewards thread got expired when the 50% back on Printers or 50% back on Shipping supplies did not.

My local staples has no good luggages remaining but the luggage I want is still available online. Not sure if the store can order for me in store to drop ship at my address and if 100% points back will work for this method. Anyone can confirm?
