It's a 30W MAX TDP difference. Most of the time - while surfing the web or watching videos the difference in TDP won't be that high as the cpu will be sitting at a lower power state. So the real world difference on average will most likely be less.
But let's assume you do use both cpus at their max power draw. Then say you use your computer 5 hours a day:
365 days x 5 hours x 30w / 1000 w/kwh = 54.75 kwh more power used per year.
That's $13.65 more per year if you pay 25c/kwh.
Great price, barely noticeable difference between this and the 9600x. I'm waiting until Black Friday to do my next PC build or I'd jump on this.
105w TDP vs 9600x's 65W TDP. Pay slightly less money now for the 7600x, but then pay more in your electricity bill. The hidden "gotcha". But it's also not as powerful as the 9600x. Honestly, the 7600x shouldn't even exist at this point.

I might be able to run the memory faster than that. I didn't try. I don't think 7000 series can run that fast with AMD expo settings. I could be wrong tho.

Do you feel a need to upgrade in your current, day to day workflow? The 5600 is Windows 11 compatible, so you're not getting phased out. All you're looking at is a moderate boost in speed and some power efficiency. If your computer is just doing web browsing, office productivity, and video streaming then I doubt you'd notice much difference. As for efficiency, you can calculate out the watts, usage hours, and energy cost yourself to see how long it would take to make back your ROI.
