Bummer this is 24v. I have 400 watts of portable panels and want to use them on my RV and Boat, but both are 12v-based systems.

Can someone give an example of a 24v battery that will work with this? Looking at other eco-worthy battery posts seems to come up with only 12v batteries.

This can handle up to 75volts of solar panel and up to 500 watts. As long as you can wire your panels to be less than 75v, they will work with this just fine. You just have to add your own 24v battery to it but when you do, it works like any other ordinary power station.

can you be more clear in what you mean? Almost all major battery manufacturers make and sell a 24v battery. Heres an Eco-Worthy branded one.

One thing that doesn't make sense is the 24v input on the side of this unit clearly says 20 amp max. That means only only 480 watts of input, (24V x 20A = 480W) but the inverter on this is 2000watts. You don't have to be a mathematician to understand you cant output 2000 watts when your only taking in 480. What's the deal? Am I missing something? It looks like an Anderson 50 plug so even 24v @ 50 amps is only 1200 watts, That plug would need to safely handle more than 85 amps @ 24v to meet 2000 watts and thats just barely.

That's what I mean. Thanks. I guess these 24v batteries do go on sale as often as the 12v batteries since I never see them posted on SD

You can find other less known brand batteries even cheaper than this but $379 for a 100ah 24v battery is actually a pretty good deal considering its 2560Wh of capacity from a reputable brand.

$379 for a 2.4 kWh isn't too bad. Hoping that they have a sell during winter.

Good point.
Some of the pictures are bad photoshops or generative AI. The text and symbols are all weird and stuff is kind of warped.

That's the solar input. The battery input to the inverter is 24 volts at 100 amps.

So a 2.4 kWh battery back up system for about $700. How much are you saving over a self contained 2 kWh battery back up?
