Looks like a good deal, but I also see this post, so confused if it is worth buying..

Exact same specs with the only difference being Wi-Fi 6E vs 7. So, you're basically paying $100 just to upgrade the Wi-Fi card. This isn't a deal.

Doesn't help - what's actually different? If nothing is different, then it's the same laptop with a different model number.

The only reason to get this is if you need the 16 inch form factor bc the ASUS vivobook with the 258v and oled screen is 850

How much does the change cost if I do it myself?

Why did this get down voted? I'm looking for a PC to play EU5, and this seems perfect, is it not? I'm finally in a place where I can spend this much. I don't know a lot about laptops. Would this be insufficient?

I see that on SD in the recent times. It used to be unbiased a while ago. Each category has some "experts" and some regular posters who have been there for a long time and work hard. Any new person has to post really super deal that no other experts have found and if that deal is an order of magnitude better then people will upvote the post. If the new person posts similar deals or slightly better than the experts such posts don't get any traction and in some cases those posts will be shot down (even if there is a little advantage) than they deserve.

This is like any company releasing a new product. The cost and performance has to be significantly better than the existing products from top 3 to put a foot and enter the arena.
In a sense it makes sense, SD doesn't want just another member. They want much more impactful members. As any community gets larger, barrier to rise to the ranks gets stricter and higher.
