I've cleaned my nipples with this and would not recommend, it's very rough.

It's better to keep the brush upright so it can dry properly and avoid mold growth. That said, I wouldn't recommend this brush after going through my third one.

1. The mini-brush at the bottom is pretty useless. If you're cleaning baby bottles or dishes, you usually need multiple sizes of mini-brushes anyway... so this one ends up never being used.
2. The main brush doesn't hold up well to hot water. I'm not even talking boiling, just comfortably warm water. After only a few washes, the bristles started to deform and "shrink." In my experience, the regular OXO bottle brush is much sturdier and gentler on bottles. E.g., https://www.oxo.com/shop/cleaning...7Lyy0Is06E

I had this before, the brush itself is worthless, it keeps separating from the small brush handle. The stand is nice, very solid. I use the base with a more sturdy brush.

Not really sure wth is going on here with others users experiences but I've had a red one for 5 years. It's been great albeit a slight bit of rust discoloration.
The nipple brush locks into place... And needs unlocking and rotating to remove it. Is the spring in it so weak now that it doesn't lock? Is it the position it's held?
As for bristles falling out... None here either. Sure they're kinda freying but they're still intact.
As for holding up to barely warm water... Dang, cuz I throw mine in the dishwasher every 2 months or so.
I use this thing a few times a week for my drink bottles and was going to get another cuz it's been awesome but my current will eventually need to go. Did quality just evaporate? I really liked this thing... Kinda hard to shove into a 1L Body armor bottle opening though but it's held up though my abuse.
