Same price as building same spec. Not really a deal but saves you the trouble of building one.

you contradicted yourself.
Open box vs new. Not a contradiction.

This is a pretty good buy if you don't want to build a PC yourself. It adds up to around the same price as if you build it yourself the only thing is that it is an open box. From my experiences, I personally haven't had any problems with any open box items I have bought yet so if you don't want to build a Pc yourself and want a 5070 gaming rig I would recommend this

I took the plunge and got it yesterday. I haven't turned it on yet, just doing an inspection. They only had the excellent condition and it looks brand new to me, minus the desktop being in a plastic bag all the stickers are on. If it's been fired up it has to be just for testing. It's built like a tank. Weird case design though. It's very clean but the modular PSU is mounted on top in the front and the 3.5 bay is below it and has to be installed from the other side. They definately cheaped out with the RAM and that's a shame as I've seen others complain that it can't do XMP and is only runs at 5200, not 5600. I also did a quick build sheet on PC Part Picker and it does work out to be around $1400. The 7800X3D and the 5070 has some good sales right now that aid in getting it that low. We shall see.
