Thoughts about needing an additional conditioner? This does not say it does both. Repped in advance!
Generally speaking, you don't need anything that says "bond maintenance" unless your hair has been treated with bleach. Maybe if you have some damage or if your ends are split, it could help, but otherwise this is a big money trap.
And there are cheaper brands that are quite good--L'Oreal's EverPure version is like for like identical to Redken's version (and Redken is a salon brand, like Olaplex). Olaplex is the OG, but if you don't need it, you just don't...

I don't have bleached/damaged hair but I do have grey/dry hair with hard water and this shampoo does make it feel better. I have a hard time finding hair products that don't trigger allergies/sensitivities and was happy to find Olaplex does not have any triggering scents. I picked this up on a prime day deal earlier this year for about $20 so this is a good sale.

I've been using the No 5 conditioner for a couple of years now. I love it. Been wanting to try out the shampoo so this is a nice deal for me.
