This isn't far off the normal every day price of this MSI unit at Costco (granted, it's not white) https://www.costco.com/msi-aegis-...55760.html

I would hazard to guess that MSI uses better components, but you never can tell with prebuilts, they often put bottom of the barrel parts in them.

I would not purchase another CyberPowerPC again. I purchased directly from from CyberPower. The build quality was not great missing extra fans ordered and poor wiring. It eventually died at 1 year exactly. Customer service was horrible and offered no help. I would not recommend CyberPower even through Best Buy.

I have had a Cyberpower for 4 years; it was custom-built, and it's been rock solid. The only reason I am considering a new PC is that I am starting to hit games I cannot play on Ultra settings, RAM is now 2x the speed of what I have, procs are much faster, and the mobo I originally speced was mid, but I didn't know enough at the time.

So 4-5 years ago I bought a pretty pricey CyberPowerPC through Adorama when the 6950XT was top of the line. I got 2 units that were DOA, one after the other. One of them switched on. The other did but I couldn't get it to POST. I tried to debug both. Both were packed with those expanding bags. Adorama wanted me to get the PC serviced by CyberPowerPC. I refused and just sent them back.
But the third one was rock soolid and lasted 4 years. It only died because I killed it, basically. It used to run pretty hot (CPU 85-90C) and I figured I'd just reapply CPU grease to it but in getting the AIO off I basically broke the CPU socket on the motherboard and bent the pins because it was like cement and I tried to twist it off.
It's still sitting in my living room and I honestly don't know what to do with it. I'm over building PCs. A cheap CPU/mboard/RAM combo might be $300-400 and it seems like a rebuild would probably cost $200+. May as well just buy a new PC at that point. Still, seems like a waste. Not sure what the point of this is. It just bothers me.
Anyway, the one thing I wanted to say is one can never rely on anyone's anecodtes (even their own) about a given company. You see this online all the time. "I'm never flying [Delta, United, American] again! Because of X" Everyone's experiences vary. So do they have cheap or bad wiring or whatever? No idea. A single good or bad experience doesn't answer that question, which is my point.

I have a custom built from them since Xmas 2022. No complaints.

I currently have a Cyberpowerpc from early 2024 and its been great so far, had a few Bluetooth issues but they went away with updates but now the PC is amazing, did some slight upgrades... No complaints hereHowever, i did have a terrible experience with iBuyPower back in 2021, pc didnt work, zero response from customer service until i did a charge back and returned the pc to them. These experiences vary from customer to customer.

Agreed, however the negative experience was primarily from the customer service. Addressing and resolving the issue would have been understandable, but the refusal and being left with a dead $1,900 PC after only 365 days with minimal use is not the sign of a reputable company. Yes, it's a single personal experience, but I don't see anyone else in a similar situation praising CyberPower's customer service.

Ultra settings isn't everything. In situations where I want to max out the graphical fidelity, I just tone down the resolution to 1440p since most people probably can't tell the difference on a 55" screen or below.

Man, sorry for your loss. That's why I've been building my own PCs since 2007, but I understand you may not be fortunate to have that luxury. In your situation, I'm at least familiar w/ all the specs, features, functionality, and quirks tied to the build in an effort to be self sufficient enough in instances where I'm able to troubleshoot and diagnose the root cause of an issue affecting my PC.
