I think that if you choose an item with a list price of $35+, you get free shipping even when the price becomes half off.

Try a different account. I got 2 bags of 47 lb salmon and rice for about a dollar a pound, by using 2 separate accounts. If you use a SS deal it's a few months before you can get another of these deals. I rotate between Chewy, PetSmart, Petco and Pet meds. To my knowledge Chewy is the only one you can get away with using multiple accounts.

Chewy will eventually get you for multiple accounts. I took advantage of the first-time Autoship discount 3 or 4 times, but since they've canceled the order on me when I make a new account. Still, there's no risk, just keep in mind it probably won't work forever.

Thank you my Lab loves this! She and my last dog (Akita) grew up on the salmon based Orijen I'd pick up at the feed store and over the years the price went up to $120 for 25lbs. At 5yrs old my Lab started vomiting late at night, and the vet wasn't sure because it was maybe once or twice a week, and I'd quickly switch her to boiled rice and chicken and sweet potato and she'd be good for a month until it would pop up again. All tests were good and I finally switched to Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach Salmon and Rice Formula Dog and she's been very happy and no more barfing! I found out Orijen was bought out by Mars (candy?) and supposedly changed their ingredients. Edit: Don't forget to use ra ku ten for x4 and promo code GET20 for $20 credit for future purchase!
