The listing says these are leather coated with polyurethane (PU). Every person I've known who bougut PU Leather furniture regretted it after a few years because the the PU becomes glue-ish from wear and tear. Most of them end up having to throw blankets over their couches so people's clothes are sticking to them from the PU softening into a gel.

The chair is Top Grain Leather With Polyurethane Match On Sides And Back.

Most leather furniture is like this.

Re-read the description. The areas that you come in contact with (the seat, back, and arms) are top grain leather. The sides and back are PU. That's the case for all but the very highest end of leather furniture. By very high end, I mean $$$$$$."Material: Top Grain Leather With Polyurethane Match On Sides And Back"
